Burger Tyme was established in Lafayette, Louisiana in the late 1980s and quickly became known for serving one of the area’s favorite hamburgers.
The legendary Cajun Blaze Seasoning was originally created by Braxton I. Moody IV in his kitchen while raising five children during the economic downturn of the 1980s oil bust. What began as a simple solution to add bold flavor to burgers soon became the signature taste that customers couldn’t get enough of.
Out of necessity, a Louisiana culinary legend was born.
